June 9, 2008 -- Big John's Pizza, S & R Riley's and Texas Roadhouse are just a few of the outstanding Cumberland County-based food vendors that will be participating at this years 2nd Southern Shore Music Festival on Saturday, June 21.

Known for their great pizza Big John's will also be serving meatball sandwiches and fries. S & R Riley's will be offering their signature crab cakes either as a sandwich or on top of a delicious spinach salad. Steak, ribs and BBQ chicken will be served by the Texas Roadhouse.

Other great food vendors for the day will include: Jonathan's Harbor's famous black angus burgers, Italian sausage and cheesesteaks. Bernie's will be offering three variations of shish kabob - chicken, pork and beef. The Off Broad Street Players will be serving pulled pork sandwiches and hot dogs. Devines Treats menu will include fish and fries, chicken nuggets, fried oreos and funnel cake. Italian water ice will be offered by Rafines. Most of the vendors will also be offering beverages which will include bottled water, soda, lemonade, and ice tea.

Festival gates at the Cumberland County Fairgrounds will open at 10:30 a.m. and the music begins at 11 a.m. with Final Vinyl. They will be followed on stage by In HIgh Gear. 12:30 p.m. Charlie Thomas' Drifters perform and the rest of the day includes performances by Terri Hendrix & Lloyd Maines, Homemade Jamz' Blues Band, Robert Hazard, David Bromberg & Angel Band and the festival headliner Dr. John.

In addition to great food and music the festival features other attractions including: guitar hero contest, arts and craft vendors, free pony rides and moon bounce, classic car show, magic shows and more.
